First Official Trailer for Stephen King's “It” Starring Bill Skarsgård
Warner Bros. has released an official trailer for its horror remake "It" and the teaser posters. The film is an adaptation of Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name, directed by Andrés Muschietti, starring Bill Skarsgård, Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Nicholas Hamilton.
"IT" was published by Stephen King in 1986. The novel is told through narratives alternating between two time periods, and is largely told in the third-person omniscient mode.
Seven child protagonists discovers together why children disappeared in the town of Derry by an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries. The kids are konw as "The Losers' Club."
The novel was adapted into a television miniseries starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown in 1990.
Warner Bros. announced that a new adaptation of th novel had started in 2009.
The film has a two-part series, the second film began filming this month under a secret name.
Producer Roy Lee told Collider last year;
"We're taking it and making the movie from the point of view of the kids, and then making another movie from the point of view of the adults, that could potentially then be cut together like the novel."
